Dr. Duval Fernandes

Duval Fernandes

Dr. Duval Fernandes graduated in Economic Sciences at the Federal University of Minas Gerais (1975), Masters in Economics at the Federal University of Minas Gerais (1977) and Ph.D in Demography at the Federal University of Minas Gerais (1996). He completed his post doctorate at the Instituto Universitário de Investigación Ortega Y Gasset of the Universidad Complutense de Madrid. He is a Researcher at the Center for Research in Economic Sociology and Socius-Organizations of the Institute of Economics and Management - ISEG at the University of Lisbon, and Associate Professor IV at the Pontifical Catholic University of Minas Gerais, in the Postgraduate Program in Geography and in the Department of Economics of the same university. He has also been a CNPq Research Fellow (PQ2) since 2018.
